EDGED ASH LUMBER
Edged ash lumber, by definition are squared lumber sections done by removing irregular sides with 90° edges. This final product is the result of the first transformation of the wood industry : sawing.
The edged ash timber is sold fresh or kiln-dried.
The flexible and resistant wood of ash is appreciated for its resistance to bending and impact. Rectangular in shape, they have very little deformation and are therefore appreciated for joinery and cabinet making work: interior joinery, furniture, floor coverings,…

Rough and planed wood planks for cabinet making, joinery, carving, scroll work, turning. Panels, stair treads, shelves, worktops, rough solid edged boards, ash edged boards, edged boards (boards with cut edges). French ash, sawn in France. Ash planks 27 mm thick, rough sawn, with a few sound knots, traces of sapwood not through. Heart dry 10 to 12 % moisture content when taken out of the kiln. Darker stains and traces are on the surface, they disappear with planing and sanding.
